ADC stands for Analog to Digital Convertor and in the correlator the ADC subsystem performs the job of converting the analog information acquired from the BASEBAND System to digital form.It is the front end of the correlator system. It performs the task of digitizing the analog signals. There are no user definable parameters for this subsystem. Hence there is no control system for the ADC subsystem.
The ADC subsystem consists of the ADC cards and the ADC backpanel.
